Creating films for my couples truly fills me with so much joy and fulfillment—it’s my absolute favorite thing. I feel incredibly grateful to work with amazing couples in such beautiful places and am proud of the unique filming/editing style I’ve developed that feels true to me and my couples
I’m now a full-time wedding videographer based in beautiful, sunny San Diego - a dream city to live in as a Midwestern girl from Minnesota. Filmmaking is my way of romanticizing life and sharing art with the world and I’m so grateful I picked up a camera at 13 and never put it down.
I have a passion for documenting genuine connection and real moments
Technically, my journey began at 13 with a GoPro, filming travels with family and friends, but it truly started when I moved from Minnesota to California to attend college at UCSB. The beauty around me inspired me to pursue film seriously and I launched Adelaide Shea Films in 2021. Now, four years later, I’m still capturing wedding days with the same love and passion as I did when I started.
My experience comes from a blend of self-teaching, technical film background, and my own unique filmmaking style I have crafted over the 4 years I’ve been creating wedding films. I’ve been lucky to have been accepted into multiple film programs at UCSB and have blended these skills into my “documentary-style” wedding videos.
When I’m not shooting and editing, you can find me trying out all the new restaurants and coffee shops in San Diego (big foodie here), spending time with my bf/roomie, taking long walks by the beach, and going on adventures with my friends.
